Rocha’s public interventions increasingly address the architecture around research: funding, evaluation, careers, infrastructure, institutional autonomy, links to innovation and Europe’s strategic scientific capacity.
The central question is how a country creates durable conditions for excellent science while connecting knowledge to long-term economic, technological and democratic resilience.
